For more than 30 years, EPL Archives has been providing expert services and optimal long-term storage facilities to research laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, chemical manufacturers, and government agencies.

Through economies of scale and expertise, EPL Archives meets or exceeds all EPA and FDA-mandated retention requirements at lower costs than any single sponsor would on its own.

Capability

  • EPL Archives has four buildings totaling nearly 86,000 square feet of environmentally controlled and monitored storage space, with 650,000 cubic feet of secured vault space.
  • EPL Archives provides fast and easy retrieval of materials with our accurate inventory and referencing system.

Peace of Mind

  • The storage vaults are secured by either proximity card-controlled electronic locks, Simplex 1000 push pad locking systems, or keyed entry.
  • The facilities are protected by several central security systems with various types of intrusion detection devices.
  • Several vaults are equipped with gas (non-water) fire-extinguishing systems with water sprinkler back-up. The gas systems consist of either FM-200 or Halon 1301.
  • Electrical back-up generators provide emergency electrical power to the majority of the protected space. All temperature-critical items (refrigerated or frozen) are covered by the back-up power systems.
  • All areas are monitored and controlled to ensure quality maintenance of all materials.
  • EPL has extensive experience, vehicles, and certified hazardous materials handling technicians whom can provide transportation or movement of materials throughout the U.S. and Canada, to assure the safe transport of large volumes of material.
